Now the Israeli fascist right, including its milquetoast wing headed by Benny Gantz, is praising and embracing Trump’s Riviera vision. If the fascists here were to appreciate logical consistency, they would argue that there is no need to take into account the plight of the Gazans: they are Nazis, they are subhuman beings, and they can be disposed of with the rubble. But the fascists fully back up Trump. After completing the horrific and unprecedented destruction of Gaza — under the pretext that there are no innocents in Gaza — they now agree that there are 1.8 million people there who deserve a better life. The US will build casinos and fancy hotels in Gaza. The land will be the US’s and there will be no settlements on the Riviera.
