The “worshippers” who were injured in Joseph’s Tomb are the terrorists
This is a display of a belligerent Occupation by the Lords of the Land, which uses force to completely negate the Palestinians’ right to their land. ■ Occupiers do not leave of their own free will. They leave when they suffer. When their blood is drawn. They leave following a violent struggle that hurts them too much. Do you want to be Occupiers? This is what an Occupation looks like.

I have a problem with the term “terrorist attack” applied by the Israeli media, the defence establishment and Prime Minister Lapid to the unfortunate incident in which armed Palestinians shot a group of Israeli Jews who were on their way to pray at night at Joseph’s Tomb, injuring several of them. This is not a case of Palestinian terrorism. And the armed people did not act as terrorists in this instance. As a rule, Jews arrive at Joseph’s Tomb, in the heart of the city of Nablus, in a convoy of buses accompanied by a large military force that guards it, and secures the mass prayer.
This is a display of a belligerent Occupation by the Lords of the Land, which uses force to completely negate the Palestinians’ right to their land. This is humiliation for the Palestinians, this is taunting them, this is putting a finger in their eyes. The security forces that protect the “worshippers” who make a pilgrimage to the “holy” place (there is no God and therefore it is impossible to pray to him; Joseph is not buried there and even if he was buried there, praying there has no special virtue, because there is no God, and therefore there is nothing “sacred” in the place “) do not function at Joseph’s Tomb as the Israeli Defence Force [literally the army to defend Israel], but as the settlers’ and the “worshipers” private militia, a militia that carries out racist and nationalist policies. Every organised secured visit by “worshippers” is tantamount to terrorism against the Palestinian population, against Palestinian sovereignty and against Palestinian human dignity. It’s spitting in their faces. That is why the “worshipers” need the escort of many militia forces, armed to the teeth and ready to die.
The very presence of the IDF militia securing the prayers at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus is an invitation for violence on the part of the Palestinians, a challenge to them: let’s see you trying to do something. In complete contrast to what the Occupation’s generals think (and like any occupying military force, they are completely stupid in all that has been said in terms of figuring out the spirit of the occupied) , the militia that secures the prayers at Joseph’s Tomb doesn’t deter, it incites. It creates a violent atmosphere. An occupying force does not need to shoot to be violent. It is enough that it lands on a civilian population in Nablus when numbering many troops, armed from head to toe, trained and ready for action.
It’s possible that the Palestinians would never achieve independence, nor gain equal rights in a bi-national state. But they will certainly achieve nothing if they do not resort to violence against the convoys of the “worshippers” at Joseph’s tomb. Read history. Occupiers do not leave of their own free will. They leave when they suffer. When their blood is drawn. They leave following a violent struggle that hurts them too much. Do you want to be Occupiers? This is what an Occupation looks like.
The five Israeli Jews who were hit by Palestinian fire arrived without the IDF militia. They arrived as the Lords of the land. Only belligerent racist Jews travel alone at night to Joseph’s tomb. Because God protects them and promised them the Land. They are the terrorists. Their trip to the tomb is the terrorist attack here. And they are in the hospital Because there is no God and Nablus is not theirs.
